This is so fascinating. The long neck women. It’s really beautiful in a way. I love how people see beauty in a different way, that not only the standard beauty is the one to follow. I’m in my fascination zone right now, the same when I was thinking more of aliens (. I have these periods in my life.
This is the song my class will be singing at a song contest where we can win 2000… NT dollars. Divided by everyone. That’s like practically nothing. Ok, maybe two meals? Can you believe I’m singing about girls with little clothes?

Since I don’t feel like making many posts for what has happened lately, I’ll just make a short summary of it all, to catch up.
Last weekend (I think it was) I went to Tainan County with Lucy for this international festival.
People from different countries were performing, mostly dances, exept for one country that was just waving with their flags. The festival had been going on for days, so the countries we got to see was Taiwan, Singapore, Slovakia, Mexico and another we didn’t catch the name of as they were speaking Chinese the whole time. We were sure we heard Poland like a million times, but they didn’t really show up. I noticed something when supposedly Poland were performing and I got to see all those good looking guys. It just wasn’t right when I was comparing them to the Polish guys in my country. But then it ended up being Slovakia and everything started making sense again.
Before going home the next day we waited for the bus walking around the “city”.
Then a new week with school started. More Chinese, which I love ofcourse. Studying is still my favorite thing to do. So that’s mostly what we do after school.
This is how me and Milky do it. The original way.
This is how Lucy do it. The ordinary way.
Lunch has been one of our daily encounters. Trying to find a new place is getting kind of hard now. But the food is great, so it doesn’t matter how many times we go back to the same places.
Twin sisters.
And last, but not least, we have been bowling with IEAS.
After that we went for Mala huo guo (!) My favorite.
It was a mess with so many people, taking care of our own food and all. At least it was an experience.
The end.

I’m thinking about posting another post. Which I think I just did. But I mean a real one. Last weekend (I think it was) I went to the county with Lucy, on Thursday I went bowling with IEAS, so soon. The problem is just that all the pictures are divided into two cameras, and I just can’t seem to get them into the computer. Too much hard work.

Let me give you a little introduction to how a conversation starts with Taiwanese people I meet for the very first time.
Taiwanese person: Hello.
Me: Hi.
Taiwanese P: What’s your name?
Me: Camilla. Yours?
Taiwanese P: ‘something Chinese’ or ‘a very common English name’. Where are you from?
Me: Norway.
Taiwanese P: OHH. That’s north in Europe, right?
Me: Yes.
Taiwanese P: Soo, you must be feeling very hot here?
Me: Yeah..
Taiwanese P: Have you ever seen the light?
Me: North light? No..
It’s pretty much the same everytime. Especially the ‘OHH’ part.
Another common scenario.
Taiwanese P: Did you finish your bachelor in your country before you came here?
Me: I just finished high school.
Taiwanese P: Aahh..
Me: I’m nineteen.
Taiwanese P: Oh! ok.

The next day we took the trip to a morning market with Ice’s family. It was all going upwards, and it was hot, so you can imagen how we were feeling. But it was nice. Especially since Poland found her Passion fruit.

This is the school Ice went to that got ruined in a earthquake (?), at around 10 years ago (?)..
Taiwan has a lot of amazing trees. Even the normal ones look special.
Ice’s car.
The stuff you can see on her shoulder is from this traditional massage. She has it all over her back, and I really thought someone had been hitting her when I first saw it. I didn’t want to ask since I was afraid it would be a vulnerable subject. Luckily it wasn’t anything like that.
I’m too lazy to turn the picture over. Just tilt your head a little.
Anyways, we went to this exhibition. And guess who the artist is?
It’s Ice’s father. And let me tell you this, he’s amazing. I didn’t take any pictures of what he made, didn’t know if I could, but it was just incredible. The bears you see on the poster is something he made out of wood.
Lunch were at bamboo-country. With bamboo rice.
Cathy and Ice.
Her aunt.
For desert we had this. I was ok… but I really don’t like normal food that’s been made over to something sweet. It just doesn’t make sense to me. And the tarot thingy looked like raw chicken meat.
…
It was then time to say goodbye. To especially to Ice, since she has left for Australia. And she will be there working for a year with her boyfriend, that’s looks extremely nice, but that I though had been hitting her because of the massage I didn’t know was from a massage. So we won’t be seeing her in a while.

The statement Taiwanese people like the most after asking if the fish in Norway is good, if we have alot of it… and so on, is “so you must be eating fish EVERYDAY!”. They have no clue about the oil, just the fish. And I don’t get what makes it so interesting. It’s fish!
